The AU200-15×15-01 Motorized Stage (pictured) and the AU200-15×15-04 Motorized Stage are powered by Two-Phase Stepper Motors and have high 0.25 micron resolution and high 1.5 micron repeatability.

The AU200-15×15-04 stage includes Quadrature encoders for position verification. Both stages have a large 3.54 in. x 3.54 in. (90 mm x 90 mm) platform with large open aperture and feature standard 1 mm-per-turn ground lead screws, and precision V-grove and Cross Roller guides.

Available as 1, 2, 3, and 4 axes modules (pictured) they are ideal for NEMA 8 to NEMA 42 stepper motors. These compact 6.000 in. x 8.000 in. plug-and-play, integrated controllers incorporate high resolution micro-stepping drivers for precise positioning.

Other features include home and limit switches per axis, joystick interface, TTL/CMOS inputs and outputs, quadrature encoder feedback, USB and optional Ethernet interfaces permits each module to be customized for specific applications. The ICAD series is powered from a single power supply up to +48 VDC. The high voltage power supply allows for high speed operation.

Additional features of these ICAD Series modules include: Low power consumption, auto current reduction, high torque and high speed capabilities, serially or manually controllable, or host controlled. Modes of motion include: Point-to-point positioning, jogging, and coordinated motion.

Another option is to program the motion controller using an easy programing language and store the code in the flash memory for automatic operation. No compiler or assembler is required. User friendly software that allows for easy setup is included. Using the software, an operator can move each axis by using the control panel or a joystick.

Vaughan, Ontario, Canada — Motion Control Components — The DMC-40×0 motion controller is Galil’s highest performance, stand-alone motion controller. It belongs to Galil’s latest generation motion controller family, which accepts encoder inputs up to 22 MHz, provides servo update rates as high as 32 kHz, and processes commands as fast as 40 microseconds-10 times the speed of prior generation controllers.

The DMC-40×0 is a full-featured motion controller packaged with optional multi-axis drives in a compact, metal enclosure. The unit operates stand-alone or interfaces to a PC with Ethernet 10/100Base-T or RS232. The controller includes optically isolated I/O, high-power outputs capable of driving brakes or relays, and analog inputs for interfacing to analog sensors. The DMC-40×0 controller and drive unit accepts power from a single 20-80 VDC source. The DMC-40×0 is available in one through eight-axis formats, and each axis is user-configurable for stepper or servo motor operation.

With a powerful RISC processor, the DMC-40×0 controllers provide such advanced features as PID compensation with velocity and acceleration feedforward, program memory with multitasking for simultaneously running eight applications programs, and uncommitted I/O for synchronizing motion with external events. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, position tracking, jogging, linear and circular interpolation, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. Like all Galil controllers, programming the DMC-40×0 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools such as GDK for servo tuning and analysis.

Van Nuys, CA -Motion Control System – The Sonata series of motion control systems from Optimal Engineering Systems (OES) is a stand-alone, easy-to-use, plug-and-play, cost effective solution for motion control applications. The systems in this series support up to 3 axes of motion, in any combination of steppers, DC servo and brushless servo motors, and voice coil motors.

Each system includes the power supplies, the motion controller, the micro-stepper and/or servo motor drivers. The operator interface terminal makes the system totally stand-alone and allows the operator to interact with the motion controller without needing an additional PC. The system can also be operated using an analog joystick or a trackball. The speed of the motor is proportional to the tilt angle of the joystick or the rotational speed of the trackball. Using the 4-line LCD and 32 button keypad, the user can enter motion parameters and select different modes of operation.

Power supply options include: 115 or 230 VAC (standard) and 12 VDC to 80 VDC (Optional). The power supply will be selected to meet the customer’s requirements. The available wattages are 80 W, 160 W, 240W, 400 W and 500 W. Options available for these Plug-and-Play systems include, motors, encoders, drivers, and cabling. Measuring just 10.0 in. (265 mm) x 10.8 in. (265 mm) x 4.875 in. (124 mm), or in a 19 inch (482.6 mm) rack mount enclosure, the Sonata motion control systems are easy to install.

Birkerød, Denmark and Morrow, OH (USA) –  Motion Control – Recognized as a world leader in integrated motors JVL has added Profinet Industrial Ethernet capabilities to their NEMA 34 Series of integrated steppers with programmable controllers. Available in 4 torque ratings of 3,0 Nm (26.6 in.lb), 6,0 Nm (53.1 in. lb.), 9,0 Nm (79.7 in. lb.), and 12,0 Nm (106.2 in. lb.) these very compact integrated steppers (the MIS340 is just 95 mm (3.74 in. long), include all necessary electronics within the IP67 rated motor housing. the quiet, precision, powerful MIS340 Series steppers are ideal for: Industrial, medical, inspection, testing, and processing applications.

The expanded ethernet protocols of the MIS340 series of integrated steppers from JVL easily connect to Ethernet bus systems such as: EtherCAT, Ethernet I/P, Powelink, ModbusTCP, Sercos III and Profinet. Additionally they are available with bluetooth, ZigBee, WLAN, PLC, RS485, and CANbus. These high performance steppers are also available with separate SMC85 controller. Options include: Electronic gearing, 9.53 mm (0.375 in.) or 14 mm (0.551 in.) diameter shafts, absolute multi-turn encoder, and planetary gear heads.

These high performance steppers feature a very high 409,600 steps per revolution 4,096 microsteps per step) for extremely smooth and quiet operation. The integrated PLC features 8 I/Os, RS-422 and RS485 connections for encoders, and point-to-point or multi axes operations to 254 axes. The 12-80 VDC supply provides high torque (0-9 A RMS (12.6 A peak) at high speed, and the control 12 to 28 VDC can maintain position value, etc. in emergency situations.
